Case converter FAQ
Title Case capitalizes the first letter of most words (“The Quick Brown Fox”), which suits headlines. Sentence case capitalizes only the first word of each sentence (“The quick brown fox”), which suits body text. Our title case guide covers the tricky exceptions like prepositions.
Punctuation and spaces are treated as word separators and removed: “hello, brave new-world!” becomes “helloBraveNewWorld”. The first word stays lowercase for camelCase; use PascalCase if you want every word capitalized.
UPPER, lower, Title, and Sentence modes use Unicode-aware case mapping, so accented characters (é, ü, ñ) convert correctly. The programmer cases (camel, snake, kebab) split words on non-alphanumeric characters, which works best with Latin scripts.
